Overview
The Chronomaster Original E-commerce Edition was released in September 2021, just months after the standard Chronomaster Originals were unveiled to much fanfare. This special edition features Zenith’s most extensive use of the iconic tri-color look by bringing all three colors of the chronograph counters into the 1/10th of a second scale. Zenith has also cleverly integrated the colors into the gray calf strap. All told it’s the most colorfully thematic version of the original El Primero yet, and exclusively available from Zenith’s online shop and not in stores–hence the “E-commerce” moniker. Case: The case is in mint condition with absolute minimal signs of wear.
Dial, Hands, & Crystal: The dial and steel hands are flawless. The front and rear sapphire glasses are clean and scratch-free.
Bracelet/Strap: The strap has hardly been used and shows no major marks or fraying. An extra hole has been punched into the strap, but it was tastefully done.
Performance
Functions: All functions including the crown-winding, time-setting, date-setting, and chronograph start/stop/reset are working as expected.
