Our Story
Ticking Time Homme is the passion project of Chicago-based watch collector Evan Jarzynski. Originally launched in 2020 as a personal Instagram account for sharing his love of watches, Ticking Time Homme has grown into a highly curated boutique specializing in rare and remarkable timepieces from a variety of brands and eras.
Evan was first introduced to the world of horology at a young age by his grandfather, who was an antique clock collector and self-taught repairman. Surrounded by a chorus of ticks and chimes every time he visited his grandparents’ house, seeds were planted and Evan’s interest in timepieces slowly cultivated. By his mid 20s he began collecting luxury watches for himself and eventually expanded his procurement to include pieces for sale.
Through acquiring and selling, Evan has amassed a wealth of knowledge regarding luxury brands and their most treasured references. He takes great pride in discovering hidden gems and bringing them to market, with a focus on all-original examples in the best condition. Each watch listed is one that Evan would happily wear, and has undergone a meticulous level of scrutiny, research, curation, and testing.
While still a collector at heart, selling as Ticking Time Homme has allowed Evan to further connect with a global audience that shares his passion for watches. He experiences no greater joy than finding that next special piece and passing it along for another collector to cherish.
