Overview
This watch is the result of a collaboration between Batlic Watches founder Etienne Malec and Revolution Magazine founder Wei Koh. Together they created a brand new dial design and case size not seen in Baltic’s standard Bicompax line. At the core of the collaboration remains Baltic’s ethos of producing vintage inspired watches at an accessible price point. Indeed, this watch looks like a piece straight out of the 1940s with its double-finished salmon sector dial, pulsometer scale, high-domed acrylic crystal, and period-correct case size. As a total package, the Bicompax Pulso presents quite the value proposition for vintage enthusiasts looking for an affordable piece that can withstand daily wear. The batch of 250 quickly sold out after launch in December 2021 and continues to be quite popular on the secondary market.

Condition
Case: The case shows minimal signs of wear with only a few faint hairlines, the most notable of which is on the lug at 2 o’clock. The case is clean and sharp and of course remains unpolished. The case back retains its original sticker and the engravings beneath remain untouched. The polished bezel is in mint condition with no visible scratches present.
Dial, Hands, & Crystal: The dial shows very small imperfections within the circular brushed finish, but is otherwise in mint condition. The hands are clean and the acrylic crystal has no visible scratches.
Bracelet/Strap: The light brown calfskin strap shows minor signs of wear with a few small marks, the most notable of which is at the 12 o’ clock side. There is no staining or fraying and the strap has plenty of life left to give.
