Overview
In 2021, Zenith partnered with the Yoshida boutique in Japan to release several limited editions of its highly successful Chronomaster Sport series. In total, 4 unique models were produced—2 in stainless steel and 2 in white gold, each fitted with either a monochromatic panda or reverse panda dial that forewent the traditional tri-color motif. The steel models, however, did add a small splash of color through the inclusion of red text on the dial, artfully accentuating the chronograph movement's remarkable 36,000 VpH precision.
Within the stainless steel collection, 100 watches were produced in the panda configuration, while a more exclusive subset of 50 watches were produced in the reverse panda configuration. The white gold models boasted an even more scarce production quantity, with a mere 25 made in total spanning both dial configurations.
Due to their origin, these Chronomaster Sport Yoshida editions can be difficult to find and rarely come up for sale outside of Japan. We’re pleased to present what we consider to be the most handsome of the bunch—the steel reverse panda rendition—with its Paul Newman-esque dial that offers an alluring alternative to the standard production black dial model.
