Overview
Inspired by the Japanese crested ibis, the Kurono Anniversary Toki was the second watch released to celebrate the founding of the Tokyo-based brand in 2019 by renowned watchmaker Hajime Asaoka. Kurono represents a more affordable entry into Asaoka’s designs, and its watches are usually released in small batches that sell out rather quickly. This particular watch, with its gorgeous pink sunburst dial, was a limited-window release for 10 minutes on May 21st, 2021 during which Kurono honored all orders placed. It is unknown how many of these were produced, but they are now only available on the secondary market.
